Yipes! I've rendered a walking dog using Bones Pro and its legs are being controlled by the bones in the other legs. Is there a new upgrade that is supposed to fix this problem? Or am I just missing something here. How can I prevent certain bones from affecting certain parts of one mesh? Thanks. -James Franssen

Hi James, Bones Pro 1.5 makes it easy to exclude a bones influence from certain areas of a mesh although you could do it in 1.0 with some patience and a little trial and error. Call Digimation for Bones Pro upgrade info or some tech support if you would like some hints on doing the job with Bones Pro 1.0. The phone number is (800) 854-4496. David – Digimation

David, Instead of being able to exclude groups of vertices to avoid interfering influences wouldn't it make more sense to work it like in Kinemation and have bones *only* influence the specific selection sets of mesh/skin vertices which are manually or automatically assigned ? Bruce N. Goren

Hi Bruce, You're right it would be easier that way and that's exactly how we do it. David – Digimation
