#AU, Lamp

Ted,
>>If you are highly self motivated and ambitious, on the other hand, you could
do well looking for work in a place like LA, SF, NY and learning on the job.
This option is not the easy way remember, but it could be very rewarding.<<
I may be self motivated and ambitious enough, but am I good enough? I could
send video samples of my work around. I have the PAR system, but my tape
recorder is VHS. Presently I can't afford S-VHS or BETA. It's a little shakey
but it gets the point across. Do you think this is acceptable?
I'm sending the lamp image today. The description will be "Sculptured lamp" or
something like that. The base needs to reflect more detail of its' actual
shape. Different lighting doesn't help.
Is Bob W. still on this forum?
Thanks,
Tim

Tim,
Everyone on this forum is faced with that question at least once a week<G>.
In my opionion, VHS is the best method to send demo tapes in most cases.
That's the format most people have ready access to.
I hope that people review demo tapes are looking at CONTENT, not tape quality
as the number one issue, but I really don't know.
I'll look for that lamp and, yes, I believe Bob W is still around.
