[…continued from section 2] >> [Delicatessen] recommended…film…(highly) Share your thoughts with me when you have a chance to watch it. Most of my family and friends cringe at the thought of foreign films… They'd rather watch Arnold S or Sly Stallone fill someone with lead. I have seen previews of Johnny Mnemonic on TV recently. Was it you who said that several minutes were done with 3DS? It looks -very- cool. – Dave

There are a total of about 12 minutes of CGI in JohnnyM. A little over six minutes of it was done by Sony Pictures Imageworks entirely with 3D Studio, and a little under six minutes was done on Alias by two other outfits. The opening of the film is a 2-minute journey through cyberspace done in 3DS… you'll get a big kick out of it. I'll also try to pull together a "guide to JohnnyM" that you can take with you that lists the EXACT shots done with 3DS FYI. I'll work on that this weekend. – G

PMJI, Hi Gary, David! I'd love to get this list too! I'm thinking of somehow promoting this movie along with 3D Studio and if you've got ani ideas or people I could contact at Sony Regarding co-promotions with theatres that may be running it, I'd be greatful.
