I was talking to my 3DS dealer about getting the C1 patch, but he seems to have been waiting for it for a long time, and hasn't been able to get ahold of it. He's been busy lately and I told him it wasn't a life and death matter, but I was wondering if there might have been some hold up I was unaware of for recent distribution. Perhaps one of the ADesk people could fill me in. I could send contact info for my dealer in private mail if someone could help. Thanks! -JK

Brian, Nik, Jonas, Adeskers in general, Just jumping in here to say I still haven't received my upgrade… it's been a long time now… this dealer channel stuff tends to be discouraging… I'd prefer to cut my dealer out of this kind of transaction, he has nothing to offer but forgetfulness or incompetence in regards to upgrades/fixes at worst, and a few extra days wait at best. Hi Paul, << I'd prefer to cut my dealer out of this kind of transaction, .. >> No Problem. Call 1-800-538-6401 Autodesk's Main Customer Service line. They're prepared to take your C1 upgrade call. jonas[adesk]

Thanks, Jonas. I called and my upgrade should be here in about a week. Makes me wonder what happened to my dealer's order for my upgrade… %-( Paul S.

PMFJI, I called and ordered the upgrade as well, however it was rather disconcerting to find out that very few people at Autodesk are even aware of the upgrade. I had to go through four different people before I found someone who would take my order, and even she went offline for several minutes to find out what the pricing was. It's been about a week now, and still no upgrade. I'm with the other gentleman about leaving the dealer out of the loop. He's already got my money and obviously isn't interested in taking care of something for me that won't bring in a profit for him, even if it means not keeping an existing customer happy. p.s. I should become an Adesk dealer, I know I can be more responsive! mdawson

Jonas, Just a word to let you know that we are have the same trouble getting this upgrade from our dealer. They still haven't even heard of it, and I have been requesting it since it was anounced here on the forum. I will definately be calling your 800 number to upgrade our 20 copies. Hmm… Too bad upgrades couldn't be requested by registered users direct from ADesk. It doesn't seem like anything the dealer would have to be troubled with, making their as well as our lives easier. My dealer is far from incompetent, but he IS very busy, and things like this are difficult for him to jumble with everything else. Add to that the fact that his rep doesn't seem to be getting HIM the patch, either. It's not like it's a purchase decision on the part of users to request a c_ patch, thus you wonder why it's handled thru dealers.
