We have just purchased a Hayes 28,800 modem but the software that came with it is for IBM or compatibles. Does anyone know where I can get software for this modem for the Amiga 500? Any help will be greatly appreciated. We live in Tulsa, Ok . and there are no places here that still sell software of Amigas. Thanks in advance. Peggy

go to the amigavendor forum and download ap.lha (autopilot) it is GREAT for compuserve use, then after you create forum catologs you can pick out a shareware terminal program from one of amigausers forum. // Gary B. Peggy, You can use any Amiga terminal software with your new modem. We have a Communications library here in AmigaUser that has lots of term programs. For CompuServe, though (if you have OS 2.04 or later, 2M memory and a hard drive) the best thing to get is AutoPilot. There is a demo version of it in AmigaVendor, Library 9 – AP.LHA. It's a great program and will save you lots of time and frustration on CIS. And when you are online on CIS, it's costing you money, so you also save money when you use AutoPilot. —Betty
