I really like what WordPerfect 6.0 for Windows does but it's abominably
SLOW! It's slow to load; Slow to load a font; Slow to change font size; Slower
in every way compared to 5.1 for DOS. I have a 486DX2-66 running WARP which I
got after running WIN 3.1. WARP is slightly slower but not enough to a
difference to me on WP. I've been moving to a 1 computer system (Amiga 3000
w/Emplant) and I've decided to use WP 5.1/DOS or 4.1 for Amiga and do the rest
on PageStream. WP 6.0 is too slow for me to tolerate. Eventually I'll sell my
6.0 upgrade. Keep an eye out for it. Tom
Thanks for the info, Tom. I will still be using the A500 with Final Writer, I
just thought as a back-up WP I'd try to get something comparable.

Agreed. I teach WP 6.0 from time to time. The ideas in it are sometimes
wonderful but, at least in my experience, it crashes so many times you are
lucky if you can finish something.
