Hi Asha, >> Thing is, there is no option to limit OpalPaint to, say, only 16 colors, and no anim-brushs. Wouldn't it be possible to paint with opal paint, use ADPro to reduce the colors and then import it into DPaint for creating the anim brush? Bye Alex

Alexander, >>> In this situation, what I will need to do is to create an anim-brush, and the DPaint series is the only program I know that will do >> that. Wouldn't it be possible to paint with opal paint, use ADPro to reduce the colors and then import it into DPaint for creating the anim brush? That sounds like a lot more work than doing it in DPaint. When my back is more healed I'm going to try something simple in DPaint V. If that works I'll do it there. If that doesn't work, I'll re-install DPaint IV and do it there. Problem is, I want to limit the colors to no more than 8 (the one I did before is 16 and I think that's too much) and if I did it in Opal (24 bit) it might look really bad by the time the colors are reduced. Problem is, I want to limit the Well, you can reduce the colors in ADPro with an AREXX script and then use one to import it into DPaint. Shouldn't be too much work… >> colors to no more than 8 (the one I did before is 16 and I think that's too much) and if I did it in Opal (24 bit) it might look really >> bad by the time the colors are reduced. Hmm, that would be the second advantage if you would do it with opal. You could make your objects once in 24bit and then create two or three versions (256, 16, 8 colors) from it with almost no work. That's the way I made the AmigaSign. It was rendered in 24bit and then the 16 and 256 color versions were made with ADPro… Bye Alex
