Saw your reply to someone's question. You seem knowledgeable and I hope you can help me. I have an A2000, GVP accelerator w/quantum 52MHD, upgraded the rom, dos and agnus. When I boot, I get 'gvpscsihd expected XXXXX'. GVP says the ram is bad. Do you know anyone selling replacements and what exactly is the stuff called. My amiga has been down for months and I really miss DPaint and the like! I could also use an old 1084 monitor, too. Please help. I can be reached here or at lcns90a on prodigy. Thanks.

I'm not the GVP expert I'd like to be, but I'll try. Did the board work before you began upgrading your system? What O/S version are you using, for I've heard of some problems with 3.1. If it is the RAM, are you using true GVP memory? They do have a proprietary SIMM design which won't allow other "generic" SIMMS to work. Memory World at 215-244-7930 may be able to help if this is the case. You'll most likely be looking for "GVP SIMM32s" if your accelerator is not too old. There was another SIMM design from what I've heard, but it's much older and very hard to find. Regards, Keith.
