John,
Like you, I've got a 4000 and a Warp Engine. I also use a softkicked OS via
the MacroSystems supplied WarpKick. I just took a quick look thru the
Shapeshifter doc (didn't install it, didn't read word for word) but got the
impression it wouldn't work with softkick machines. Do you know if this is the
case?

Well I broke down and purchased the 3.1 ROM's for my 4000 Steve, so I'm not
using WarpKick anymore. But I'am using WarpROM to remap the KS into the Warp's
memory so I would imagine it would use the MMU similarly and ShapeShifter runs
fine. I'm not using SS's PrepareEMU but using RsrvMem from my Emplant software
so not sure if that would make a difference or not. I guess the best thing to
do in your case would be to just give it a shot. If it works then great, but if
it works only when dropping back to the 3.0 ROM KS, then you know what the
problem is <g>.
