I was the one who had the same probs. If you dl .sea files from
anything other than a Mac it will lose its resource fork (ie a bit
like .info). Therefore mac apps won`t know what it is, even if the
data exists. You need to dl directly to the MAc, (which I do using
MAccim on the SS Mac), or get a util in MAcNEW or go MACFF and search
for utils that transfer these forks across platforms. (There is one
for the PC).
Thanks, I figured as much. Since I only have the ROMs at home (two
sets) and the MACs at work are totally isolated from any outside
connections (any computer for the most part is), I can't d'ld
directly to a MAC. I've figured out a way though thanks.
Sorry if I wedge in, but I figured this would be the best place to
solve my proble. I tried runing SS on my A1200 with 50mhz 030 (MMU)
and 16 megs of ram. However, when I ran the program PrepareEmu my
computer was reset and did not want to start until I turned it off
and on. Could anyone help?
