Thanks for the info. I haven't seen Win95 yet but indeed didn't hear very positive things about it at our IT department. And yes, I agree, the PC sucks. It's so horribly slow to use, it crashes all the time… Bart Van Bockstaele at 100574.2352@compuserve.com … On AutoPilot and Amiga all the way from Belgium …

Unfortunately Win95 is getting to the point where it is actually useable. Not only that, I used to run DOS and sometimes windows and now I have to run windows ALL the time. If you try using your machine without Win95 loaded (you can still boot up win95 dos) then your long file names become corrupt. Win95 still runs on top of dos BTW, it just installs both of them at the same time. A lot of the code is still 16bit so it cannot always pre-emptively multitask (which really means it cannot ever!). Phillip, PMFJI, but I am a obligatory PC-user too and I learned that OS/2 will get me closer to AmigaDOS/Workbench than any other PC-OS can. I got so very tired of Windows that I tried OS/2 one day and I was instantly enthousiastic about it. Not that it can beat the Ami 🙂 Mario. – Mario van Ginneken, 100044,2035 @ 21-May-1995, 14:08:44 Using: Windows NavCIS PRO 1.6 on a P90-system

Apparently you weren't very impressed. Does that mean “Goodbye multi-tasking?'' Bart Van Bockstaele at 100574.2352@compuserve.com … On AutoPilot and Amiga all the way from Belgium …
