The Demise of the Old Computer Club. As has been stated for obvious reasons in this thread and others, the computer club of the future will hold their official meetings in cyberspace. The members will pay their dues to a corporation which in turn will provide the bandwidth needed to express ideas, exchange information, and pose questions. All members will have complete anonimity unless they have a scanner and upload their picture. Those who wish not to be offended by anything can choose to simply read messages without responding to any that they disagree with. If there is a general disagreement, it will not end in violence to the other party unless the offended party is going to be completely irrational and "certifiable". Pretty cold and impersonable, IMHO. Human contact is and will be sought for as long as there are humans, so as far as I'm concerned I'll keep going to SACC meetings while exploring the creation of a Solano County Amiga Resources Society. (well….. ) Thanks to all for your inputs for what to do and not do. We'll try to make the new owners proud. – Phillip, on AutoPilot 1.80 _____T_____ Going Amiga 'till the Sun goes Nova! * * O * * B5>ST.all
