How do I change my protocol for u/dloading? When trying to download e I chose Kermit at the prompt. Kermit didn't work, but I could not get the prompt again to change protocols. Is there a way to change protocols once you have chosen one? Thanks.

When you give the command DOW for download, you can add another command on the same line, such as: DOW PROTO:KERMIT or DOW PROTO:B+ and the system will change protocols when it receives that command. If your term supports B protocols, they are much better for CIS. Kermit is excellent, but slow compared to QuickB or B+. Be sure you have set the same protocol in your terminal program as the one you tell CIS to use. —Betty

Thank you. Betty, I do not enter the DOW command. I am given a menu with a choice to download. Then I am given about 6 protocol choices. Once I choose one, I do not get the protocol choices again. Also, I have succesfully used XModem and YModem. I tried Kermit, but I guess my version of Kermit didn't work. I am using MagiCall on an Amiga 2000.
