#Grants for Colleges ?

I teach at a high school in New Orleans. We purchased 3Ds at 80% off list
from Autodesk on a special sale to schools last summer. (It was still a lot
of money for our video club. We sold video yearbooks to finance the
purchase.) We use the program for graphics for our student TV studio.
We are all neophytes and I am learning along with the students. We all
love the program, but sometimes feel overwhelmed by its complexities.
This forum has been invaluable to me. Thanks to all here from 800
students at Benjamin Franklin H.S. !!

Hey Paul! Thanks for taking the time to let us know that it has been
useful to you and your students, great to hear it is working as intended.
Any comments on how it could improve or any difficulties you or your
students had in using this? What comm. software do you use? What problems
did you run into with your administration? How do you look after the
budget?
Sorry to pepper you with these questions but inquisitive minds want to know
you know!!
What have your students been doing with the software? Can we expect to see
some sample of their work? (put it up in the Data Library) Let us know if
you need any help with how to do this.
I'd also be curious to know if you used the tutorials that ship with 3DS
and if so how you found them?
