#Digitizing Video
5 messages in this thread
Hi John,
I would like to get your and anyone else's recommendation for S-VHS VCR to
digitize video into Adobe Premiere 4.0 using a Pentium 90, with 32MG ram, 2GIG
HD. I want to stay in the $700 – 1500 range. We are using an Intel
SmartRecorder Pro for digitizing.
Thanks for your help

Vinny,
I think that the Sony SLV-R1000 provides a good feature set including a
control-L interface for about $900 or so.

I'm always pretty happy w/Panasonic's AG line which, despite a few flaws, seems
to be the workhorse for prosumer video and is within your price range. The
AG-1970 is their current model–you might want to look into it.
Hope this helps,
