Can anyone advise if there is some way I can use a spare computor monitor as a video motitor as part of my edit setup.

I can't think of a cost effective way to use an RGB monitor as an NTSC monitor, an encoder would cost more than a new NTSC monitor.

Unless, of course, his RBG monitor syncs to 15.7khz horizontal AND he already has an encoder card. Some of the older monitors did sync this low as did the Commodores.

Thanks for your reply John. It was just a thorght as I have a spare monitor doing nothing and if it could have been put to use it would not collect so much dust in the corner.
