Dean; Still waiting for your answer on DIRECT control of the new JVC EditDesk.
I know you can do IR but I want full control. How's bout it?
Thanx
Zeddock Miller
Dear Mr. Zeddock,
If the JVC Edit Desk comes with a "swap" or "S" port we can control it.
However, you will have more editing functions using our MediaEditor software
you will not need the JVC Edit Desk.
The MediaPhile System sells for $295 and includes all the hardware and software
needed for full video production. We also have an additional MediaPhile
Industrial Control for RS422 devices which can be integrated it sells for $95.
Sincerely, Dean

How would I know of these "swap ports or S port"? What do they look like? You
don't mean S-video, do you?
Also:
Why comment that I would not need the EditDesk?
I need decks, don't I?
Also, I get 0 frame accuracy when I use their new integrated timecode.
I think the decks are great, I just want to control them from my Amy.
Thanx,
Zeddock Miller
Dear Mr. Zeddock,
I looked into your system specs. all you need is our MediaEditor software.

Please contact me if you are interested in going ahead with an order.

What would I get for this?

Dear Zeedock,
Forgot, one thing our software TCGen program which comes with MediaEditor will
allow you to use time code tape positioning dubbed to one of the audio tracks.
This gives you frame accurate editing as well.
Thanks, Dean

Are you aware of how the EditDesk works?
It does not take place on an audio channel.
