The videomedia Eagle is an edit controller that was built around 1985 ish. It
will only run decks that you have the interfaces for from Videomedia. There
were several versions of the controller and without that info noone an tell if
in fact you can get black burst out of it.
The cost to up grade to operate today's decks would exceed the cost of a new
system such as the Video Machine from FAST Electronics. It was also very
support intensive and required decks designed for editing. It was not designed
for prosumer or Panasonic 5 pin decks. In fact it was not designed for 95% of
the decks in current use.
Put it in your video museum and move into Todays desk top world.
