#Windows shareware

Question – why is there tons of shareware available for Mac, but I can't find
any for Windows? I would like to use QuickTime, but I cannot find a runtime
viewer thats shareware (matter of fact, I can't find ANY runtime viewer thats
shareware). I've surfed for a while, but haven't found one yet – any one know
of a host or forum that may have one?
Have you checked out the Windows shareware available here on CIS? Often, I
find just what I need here (or close to it). Go IBMFF

The EDRIVE multimedia viewer that you can download so you can watch
clips from the latest Hollywood releases on your computer is a QT/Win
runtime player. You see them mention it all the time in the "What's
New This Week" section at the top of CServe. Of course, you can only
use it 6 times before it goes "poof!" on you if you don't register
it…
Best,
