TELEVISION & HOME VIDEO DISTRIBUTION FOR PRODUCERS ___________________________________________________________ OVERVIEW Theatrical Home Video, Television Broadcast and Home Video programming is currently being sought by a well known World-Wide Distributor. Distribution and Licensing Deals available to qualified Producers of original programming. R&B Films, Ltd. is currently looking to source programming for a publicly held national distributor. Licensing & Distribution deals are available for Theatrical Home Video Release, Television Broadcast and Home Video markets. Television and Home Video distribution deals will be considered for programs that are of high quality in both content and production values. However, the favored acquisition will primarily be high quality art, cultural, documentary, historic, niche, or special interest programming. Series (3 programs or more) are preferred but one-off programs will be considered. LICENSING DEALS The Distributor will pay the cost of all packaging, duplication, advertising, promotions, sales, marketing, promotional materials, warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, collections and returns on a Home Video licensing agreement. Royalties will be paid to the Producer on a quarterly or semi annual basis. Advance payment of royalties to the Producer are available for the right programming. The Distributor typically looks to acquire the World-Wide Television rights as well. Royalties are based on a set percentage of wholesale gross receipts minus any returns. DISTRIBUTION DEALS The Distributor will lay out the cost of all packaging, duplication, advertising, promotions, sales, marketing, promotional materials, warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, collections and returns on a Home Video licensing agreement. Royalties will be paid to the Producer on a quarterly or semi annual basis. Advance payment of royalties to the Producer are available for the right programming. The Distributor typically looks to acquire the World-Wide Television rights as well. Royalties are based on a set percentage of wholesale gross receipts minus any returns. Distribution deals typically pay a higher royalty but the Producer will ultimately absorb the cost of packaging, advertising and promotion by the Distributor. INSURANCE Errors & Omissions Insurance will be required for those programs that are signed for distribution. COST & EXPENSE There will no fees, expenses or commissions charged to Producers for the placement of their programming with this World-Wide Distributor. Alternate channels of distribution may be available for certain programs. Those programs that are determined to have commercial potential may be placed with another distributor. These alternate placements will be handled on a commission only basis. No up front fees, expenses or advances are ever required from, or charged to, the Producer. Those programs placed with the primary World-Wide Distributor will be totally free of any charges, commissions, costs, or expenses to the Producer.
