I have a Mac IIx with a 50 Mhz Universal Power Cache, the cdev is the 2.0. I installed the system 7.5.1 and now I obtain a system crash ("Finder: Illegal Instruction" or starting without extensions "Finder: Floating Poit Coprocessor not installed" or "Finder: Bus Error"). What can I do other then re-install 7.5? HELP Thanks Giovanni Benigni

Greg, I've checked I already have the 2.2. The problem I have is that the mac does'nt start even without extension! So, in any case, I could'nt update anything on it. What to do? Giovanni

I found the solution. I reinstalled MINIMUM system 7.01 for ALL mac. Then I installed 7.5 and then I upgraded to 7.5.1. Now it works. Thanks Giovanni
