Greg, thanks for the info on 3.3. You may have discussed this recently in here but I havent been keeping up with the message traffic so bear with me:). Do you have any ideas of when Imagine for windoze may become available. I would really like to stay in one environment. Life would be so much easier:). Bob………….

Life would be so much easier:). << Bob, I haven't discussed it, and don't really have anything definate. All I can say is that it is a top priority for Impulse, and you could expect to see something sometime this summer, 3-4 months from now. But please, that estimate is not meant to be written in stone, though all efforts are being focused to have it ready by then. -GreG

I'm looking hard at Imagine as a modeling and rendering platform. I prefer Windows as my operating environment and would like to know more about the up and coming Windows version of Imagine. Specifically, I'm interested in features (very interested in lighting and fogging effects as well as particle effects), rendering quality, bundled models and textures, and of course the expected pricing. >> I prefer Windows as my operating environment and would like to know more about the up and coming Windows version of Imagine. << Brett, I can't offer anything more about the Windows version of Imagine other than it will have the same capabilities as Imagine for DOS, added features to enhance it's functional performance, and a new Windows specific interface. These are some of the things that I am aware of. This, and that it is being targeted for release this summer, in about 3-4 months. -GreG

>>Just some additional info on what's being done to IM 3.3<< Is all this going to be available from the Stage Editor as well as the Detail Editor? It sounds terrific. Michael

>> Is all this going to be available from the Stage Editor as well as the Detail Editor? It sounds terrific. << Michael, It is rather terrific. There are a few more features to the Brush mapping abilities that I haven't mentioned either. And yes, since the Attributes requestor is available in the stage editor, the new features naturally have effect there also. I think everyone will be really pleased. That aspect of Imagine has matured greatly. -GreG
