#TTL Mono Monitors

Hi there! Say, in passing I noticed that you mentioned you had a TTL input
monochrome monitor connected to your Amiga 1000. Could you please
elaborate on the cabling required to do this (either a pinout or a source
for the cable). Athough this is probably a rather mundane question, being
a relative newcomier to the Amiga world, I wasn't aware that this was
possible.

Its a straight rgb TTL (you actually mix the 3 to get the shades) hook up
with the VSYNC signal inverted. Don or Larry could point you to the file
name at the Hardware DL that has the information on how to hook up a
monochrome monitor to the Amiga. As far as the Blue chip monitor is
concerned, you then adjust the Vertical Hold pot (to stop the roll over)
and the VSIZE pot (for a full size picture). Both of these are external
controls on the Blue chip. Hope this helps. Regards, Bill.
Thanks for the info Bill! From what I read in the hardware file
(describing how to build the cable and interface board) I thought that
there might have to be some internal modification to the monitor itself.
Apparently, that's not the case with the Blue Chip monitor. Will give it a
