We (Rockland Community College ATC) have been training many engineers from the former Soviet Union. Several of them have asked me to find out if there are any manuals or texts published in Russian. They do great with the software but their english is not very strong, and my Russian is nonexistent. I'd appreciate any answers or suggestions. Thanks – Nicole

Nicole, Nice to see you here. Can't help with the Russian materials. But you have come to the right place. Did you get the Brain disc yet? Still no Show and tells from most of the group at Bergen. And i am still waiting for the animations from Oscar. No return on the evals yet from most of the group either. But I will be sending you a surprize in a few days. How are your 3ds classes going??? Nicole… Our college last winter taught several engineers/ architects etc. from the former soviet union. Their english or french was not fantastic but passible. To my knowledge no russian materials exist on ACAD. From my developers handbook there is a subsidery office listed in Moscow: Called: Parallel 1 Karamyshevskaya Emb. Moscow, USSR 123423 Tel: 011-7-95-946-2837 Tel: 011-7-95-946-2832 Telex: 113042 VORT You or one of your students might try calling them. I don't know just how simple that might be..? But hey give it a try. Failing that the students that passed through our program had 150 hours of instruction & were just off the boat (and unemployed)… If you need things translated they might appreciate the work… Roger Cusson Vanier College Montreal
