Scheme 1.7

<continuation> 6- the question is, how many wires _are_ needed? What if a
wire enters loom1, continues to loom2, exits, new wire enters loom3,
continues to loom4, while other wires go loom1-2-3-4… See the problem?
7-screen redrawing has been addressed several ways. It's faster – quite a
bit. Some redraws have been eliminated. I have no idea what mcad is… but
infinite zoom is out. Amiga number keys, ok, will do, likewise kbd commands.
If you have a preference, then send same to me… it'll be used as a
non-exclusive guide, since no one else has really mentioned it.
11 – maybe. bears thinking about, anyway.
12 – no chance, just not enuf dots in low res. Bug cbm – the new chips will
give you a flicker free screen in Scheme. IT's a 640x400x2 screen.
13 – also no chance. Scheme will write to the disk when YOU tell it to, no
other time; The potential for system instability because of another task
doing things is too high. Someday, when they make the system more reliable, I
might relent on that one, but not now.
Glad you liked the program, in general. There is a lot of work going on to
it's insides – as yet, no one has been able to define a situation that will
bring up that bug; that's what we're waiting on for the next official
release. –Ben–
