Seeing your association with AMICUS PD stuff and your
{past|present|future|} association with Amazing Computing, maybe you can
answer a question for me concerning a type-in program in the latest issue
of AC, e.g. the BASIC DIRECTORY SERVICE PROGRAM. What is the status of
this program with respect to my typing this in and then uploading it to CIS
or a local board, or giving a copy to a friend? The REM statements at the
beginning of the program indicate the copyright resides with the author and
in these same statements he designates the program as "freeware." So in
your opinion is this program "FREELY DISTRIBUTABLE" under the common
meaning of the term? Thanks.
