Very interesting question. I really, really want to be able to do this too,
in an "approved" way, but only for a CUSTOMSCREEN which has registered itself
as allowing other users to use that screen, thus protecting against closing
the screen at the wrong time etc. Willy Langeveld put together a .library
that does this somewhat … but not sufficient for my liking. Anyhow, what
he's done is in "screenshare.library"
But that's not answering your question … I think you must be getting
something wrong in the OpenWindow call, 'cause you should be able to get the
window opened even if the screen is foreign to ya-
