Your right, of course, about typing in "Preferences". I could do it faster
that way also. But for many other things the mouse is faster. Most of the
programs I have remotes for are nested 2 or 3 dir's deep and I type "three
forward two back" most of the time when entering long path names. (althou I
can type 3 letter words with one three fingered stroke) 🙂
I do use WB at least half the time and, as for preferences that's just
habit or laziness, I don't know.
Anyway, I do think the remote icons warrant some recognition even if they
are a CBM accident. They are useful, for those that use WB.
