Hello, I have Professional Page ver 1.2 and I have been trying to do a
color separation to a QMS 100 color PostScript printer…after a did a
color postscript print to verify that PP does in fact supports color
postscript I then when ahead a did a color separation of the bitmap image,
it was a 4 ( four ) color separation, well the printing service call that
the job was done except that I had only 2 ( two ) pages and that both of
them were black!!! why!?!?!? what did I do wrong I selected 4 colors, 60
lpi on the color postscript requester and then I was watching the computer
do the color separation color by color, at least that is what that litle
thing that tells you what color it is separarating…now I am doing this to
have another person prints these four plates on t-shirts and he ask me if I
could 'screen' the color plates, now is PP capaable of screening a document
? , I dont mean scan, or digitize but to decide how close the dots will be
on each color plate…also I can't print to dot matrix because PP tells me
I don't have enought memory I have 3 megs of memory and the new AGNES chip!
so what is the problem with this so called high end desktop publishing that
sells for $500.00 bucks and still doesn't work! "…GOLD DISK ARE YOU

There was a bug in the color separation code in the very first release of
PPage V1.2 It is possible that you received that version. Post your adress,
and I'll check your registration and send you a new disk.
Yes, Professional Page can do custom screens. The screen density can be set
in the Postscript Output selector, as well as the angle of rotation for
the screen. These can be set differently for each separation.
