#Please release me!

Khalid,
Often a stupid program will bomb or exit without closing some file(s).
Then, when I try to delete the files I get, "can't delete – file in use."
It would be great to have an "UNLOCK" utility which would solve the problem
short of re-booting. Any thoughts?

Title : Display all locks, unlock those you don't want.
Keywords: LOCKS LOCK UNLOCK FILE READ WRITE REMOVE DEVICE
'Locks' will display all open 'locks' on a device. It will also unlock
any unwanted locks. This will help you 'clean-up' after programs that
don't behave and keep locks lying around all over the place. E.G.
DiskPerf will forget a lock on 'diskperfaaa' and this file cannot be
deleted. 'Locks' will unlock the file and make it deletable. WARNING:

Eric, is that what you're looking for? (grin) It is in Lib 14.
Khalid.
Gee Khalid, you're slowing down!! That program isn't even a FULL 18 months
BEFORE Eric asked for it. Did you fall in love or something? You're
normally quicker than that. <grin>
