I just tested my other 2 languages (AC/FORTRAN 2.2 and Aztec C 3.4) and
neither of them had any problem with long integer arrays of 10000*10. The
Aztec did require that I use a large data model, but had no problems with
the 400,000 byte array. Note that both compilers also suport the math
coprocessor and double presission real variables. I think this could be
the start of a large wish list
