Can anyone tell me if replacing the Agnus chip in an A2000 involves cutting a trace on the motherboard, or just moving a jumper? —Andrew

Andrew, Both…move one jumper, cut one trace. This presumes you're upgradding from the 512K Agnus to the 1 Meg Agnus. Don

Don, Yes, I'm toying with the idea of going from the 512K Agnus to 1 meg, but I'm not sure if I am qualified to perform the "operation". I'd HATE to goof up the board by cutting too much, or breaking the Agnus socket. I guess if I'm in doubt, I should go to a service shop. —Andrew
