Mike, Just a quick question regarding the Lattice Screen Editor (LSE)…
Is there some way to get a case-insensitive search with LSE? I couldn't
find that as a setable option anywhere. I know I can do it via generic
Regular Expressions…but I was looking for something a little shorter…
(To avoid the "[T,t]ask*" when looking for any references to tasks, for
example.)
On another topic, I've just received my THIRD postcard (arriving the same
day as my SECOND) confirming my registration of a Lattice software product.
They all seem identical, and so far I've only purchased one product (the C
compiler).
Does this mean I'm gonna get three times as much support!? 8^)

Unfortunately LSE does not currently support a case-insensitive search.
We do have an outstanding SMR requesting that this feature be added. As far
as the postcards go, we always give at least three times the support of
most other companies. 🙂

Well, speaking from laziness…You can add my two-cents comment to those in
favor of case-insensitive searching…Let us know when that SMR gets
implemented…
On a slightly different topic, I saw mention of v5.05 of C…Can you tell
me what's in 5.05 that's not in the v5.04 that I have? (You can tell that
I'm too lazy to dial into the Lattice BBS 8^)…Also, have you (the
collective "you"…) got any plans on distributing updates, etc. via CI$? I
suppose it shouldn't matter if I pay CI$ or the phone company, but this is
easier to justify as "computer-related"! Thanx again Mike!

The Lattice 5.05 patch fixes a number of 5.04 bugs. It is especially
important for programmers dealing with floating point to get the 5.05
patch. We do plan to have a section in AmigaVendor, but a number of
obstacles have slowed down its creation. We'll let you know when it is
available.
