David, It sounds as though you may have a rather thick outline on the text you are using. If you have inadvertently changed your default settings to include an outline on your text, this may account for several things. The "chunky" preview and output could certainly result from such an outline and the time involved to apply that outline to a large text block could bog things down. Check to see if this is the case and if so delete the outline and adjust your defaults. Refer to pg. 115 of your CD manual Short of that you may want to delete the file CDCONFIG.SYS from your Corel directory and restart Corel, this in effect changes the defaults back to their original state. As for copying the info to the clipboard, try going into the edit text window, drag select the text and then <CTRL><INS> to copy the text to the clipboard. Then paste this into PM. Let me know how it goes. Paul [Core]

Paul, I found my v2.01 update disks, and since it consisted of only 2 disks I just installed it again. Everything is fine now. What you indicated probably was the case, so I will be alert for that in the future. Have read some good reviews of v3.0, I wish there was a more limited (read cheaper) upgrade where we could just get the new version of the Drawing module and forget about all that other stuff. Oh well… dk
