Robert, Perhaps you missed the beginning of this thread … I have both the Adaptec drivers which came with the GA release, the updated driver from the Adaptec BBS, as well as the beta ASPI manager which was on the Adaptec BBS. The problem (apparently) is that CDROM.SYS which came with the OS/2 GA release only supports IBM and Toshiba CD drives and I have a NEC CDR73M. I know that people have had luck running MSCDEX under OS/2 using a VDM, unfortunately I have an OS/2 PM application which wants access to the CD-ROM. That's what I'm fishing for … OS/2 support for my NEC CD drive. I came here because I had heard on the IBMOS2 forum that Corel had a universal CD driver which supported OS/2 2.0 (as well as DOS and Novell) which layers atop an ASPI manager which they will sell without their adapter. Kelly has previously indicated that this is the case. More recently (while trying to find somebody who sell CorelSCSI) I've heard that the CorelSCSI driver may not support PM applications. If you can be of any help in this mess I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks – josh
