Do I have to wait for a mailing from Corel before I can upgrade? I get the
impression from messages on the forum that local sources are not providing
upgrades as Corel intended. What is the best method?

Upgrade notices are being mailed out to all of our registered users, but
you do not have to wait for this to place an upgrade order.
Upgrade orders can be placed directly from Corel by simply dialing
1-800-836-DRAW in the U.S. or in Canada you may dial us directly at
613-728-8200 and one of our friendly customer service representatives will
be happy to take your order.
However, upgrades will also be handled by dealers and we do encourage
people to go to their local dealers for their upgrades as this eliminates
shipping and handling costs, as well as possible shipping delays (customs,
shipping, etc…)
