I have a mitsumi cd and a sb pro card. my computer is a Zeos 486dx-33.I
cannot get any of the lucas art games (loom,monkey island) with any sound.
I have picture. I also have the Our House cd by Con-text, my problem with
this game is from windows I get the game to begin but my mouse disappears
and again no sound. It says in the SBPRO manual you cannot hook anything
other than the creative lab cd-rom. Is this correct? I have spent 2 weeks
trying to find out something, but no one seems to be able to help. So I'm
trying here. Please leave me a message one way or another so I know if I
am the problem or my system is. Thanks ahead of time for any support.
I empathize with you Nancy, and the problem could be no more than a bad
driver file(try the windows updated drivers)on CIS. I doubt very much
that the sound card or drive are bugged. Have you tried different IRQ?
The factory defaults may not be compatable with your ZEOS. Log on another
forum where they may be more familiar with your problem. You'll
get right-let me know what the problem was – thanks
