Dirk, I get that if there isn't enough memory allocated. For example, if you are on an 8MB machine and your config has the line… device=emm386.exe RAM ON then you won't have enough for Phar Lap to recognize, but windows will really fly! I usually divide my memory in half when I want to run ADESK products and windows on the same machine like this… device=emm386.exe 4096 RAM ON or something similar… Hope this helps!

Thanks Doug. I don't have EMM386 installed. I have 8 MB of RAM, and I leave it all to Phar Lap. I don't have anything defined as EMS. PhilD at Autodesk can't duplicate my problem, but he's working with some of the programmers. Dirk
