I already know that 3DSr2 has wonderfull videopost features but how about a separate videopost program for those who want the same features (and more) without buying the 3DSr2? I'm talking about a videopost module for Animator Pro, for example. Or a true professional version of Animator Pro; APRO is a program with GREAT features (I really like it) but, in my opinion, APRO lacks of truecolor support or videopost capabilities. Greetings, Ana

Well, since it sounds like you're already got 3DSr1 (you're using it for backgrounds), upgrading to release 2 ought to be pretty painless since it's only a few hundred $$. Regarding a separate compositing program for Animator Pro… the main problem is that our compositor is very tied to a 32-bit environment due to the alpha-channel requirements. The primary problem with bringing AA Pro into a truecolor environment is a lack of standards for 32-bit imaging on the PC (and the lack of image compression hardware). It's inevitable that these things will be resolved in the future.
