I received advertising info for a new Amiga magazine today. The name of the magazine will be Amiga.info, and it will being publishing in 9/93, and they expect 20-30K circulation. They will publish bi-monthly, and cover all Amiga topics. This may be old news to everyone, but it was the first I heard of it.

It's new to me. Where is this magazine to be published, and by whom, or did it say? —Betty

Betty- The publisher is H&M Publications in Seabrook, TX (713-332-6334). Here's some of their letter: "Amiga.info will publish a wide variety of unique and immediately useful tutorial articles every iissue, including product reviews and/or in-depth articles on the latest Amiga hardware and software….Amiga.info is geared towards the needs of all levels of users." Their 1st issue in Sept.Oct '93 will feature AGA, with the next issue graphics, then DTP, the programming, and telecom. and Multimedia, and then Desktop video. Hopefully the magazine will be met with success and support.

Thanks for the magazine info and I hope it is met with success and support. Unfortunately, I was sad to see from your lisiting of topics for the first year, that Music, Sound, and MIDI was not mentioned at all.

Dom – You're right about items they will need to include. They'll need to cover all areas, both at the surface and in-depth, if they hope to last long.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you're asking if they will have the Amiga as their magazine's subject, I'd say yes, it looks that way. If you're asking if they're going to use Amiga's in their office to actually do the DTP for the magazine, I don't know.
