A friend asked me to try to determine why he can't access his NEC 84 drive. I
tried it with a Media Vision card and an Always IN-2000 with no success. I
don't know what the function of each DIP switch is. Can someone please provide
a list?

The Media Vision card says it detected a CD-ROM drive, so it isn't completely
dead.
