I am experiencing a problem when I click the mouse and the program is
reading a sound file. The drive light continues to flash and the
program hangs when it tries to access another sound file. The only
recovery is a cold boot. I am using a Sound Blaster V1.5 card,
Logitech mouse and driver and a Sony CDU-6201 drive with adapter card
CDB-142 with a Trantor Sony Laser Library prefetch buffer upgrade.
Has anyone had similar problems with this or other programs?
Yes Alan, I have experienced the same thing.
I still have this problem when I try running one of my sound applications
during a heavy windows session, I'm a graphic artist and open lots of programs
at the same time. Try reinstalling the program, or changing the address
location, this can be done easily if you have Dos 6.0, and run "memmaker.exe"
it will locate different drivers in the proper locations. Well my experience
is usually hit & miss but there seems to allways be an answer. Good Luck!
