Can any one tell me what you need to use CD-I in my CD ROM ? I have a Sony CDU31A-02

At least that's one of the beauties for Philips. If you find a disc that's valuable enough, all you need is a $600-700 player and you can use it to your heart's content. But you can't play CD-I on your standard CDROM drive, and the CD-I player won't be able to access virtually any of your standard CD-ROM's. Best – Rich Bowers

Well I think I'll have to talk to Sony about their CD-I Mention then! The Installation booklet says in the specs that it will read CD-I. Maybe they mean that the CD-I disk fits in the tray……. 🙂

Anthony, SONY is correct, you can read CD-I discs. They didn't say you can do anything useful with them but you can read them<G>. Glen
