I don't have a bridgeboard — yet — but saw Ronnie Pertuit's note about
trying to use a Logitech serial mouse with the multi I/O board.
My question is, Is it necessary? Can't the Amiga mouse be used on the PC
side as well?

Dave's answer is correct but…the AMOUSE driver for Bridgeboard does
have a bug it in which causes some programs to not interpret the
mouse moves correctly. (Ever tried to use a mouse while looking at
the screen side-ways AND through a mirror? That's the effect you get
with some programs) So for I've had problems with AMOUSE and three
programs; Neopaint, a shareware paint program, the Prodigy terminal
program and the the sound editor program for the Sound Blaster.
Commodore said they have no plans or interest in correcting the
AMOUSE driver so that was my main reason for wanting to install
another mouse. (Plus the mouse was given to me as a gift from my
wife) On the other hand, life with two mice can get confusing at
times. But I did find a solution to the serial port problem and now
I've got both my modem and mouse working happily together.
