As well as calling conventions used by the compiler and their startup code,
and, and, and… If GNU is even compatible with , more than likely the kit
libraries would have to be rebuilt specifically for GNU, meaning another QA /
testing cycle, more floppies in the package (which give production additional
complications), etc. It's always a matter of "do we support another, fairly
small market base compiler or do we move on with fixing bugs and adding
features?" (And that's not a clear cut question; it's always tuff to know
where to draw the line.)
