Keystrok Finder bug
2 messages in this thread
I just got my upgrade to Quarterback Tools, and ran into a problem
with the Keystroke Finder program. When I click on any key, the
system crashes. At least the crash is kind enough to display the
crash requester, but I really don't think the program is supposed to
work this way. I start the program from the icon (on the floppy),
and the box comes up showing all the characters. I position the
mouse over one of the characters (so far I have tried the yen sign
and the capital D). When I press the mouse button, up pops the
requester saying "Your dead". I am running an A500 with 512 K chip
and 2.5 meg ram, a trumpcard 500 with a 105 meg Quantum drive, and a
second floppy. Since I am sending this with autopilot, I obviously
am running 2.x (2.04 to be specific). In addition to workbench, I am
running directory opus, click to front, Aswarm II (a screen blanker
and the only non-commadore commicity), exchange, and the clock.
Keystroke finder looks like it might be a useful program. Any idea what
might be wrong with it?

Bill,
We found a small problem with some configurations. We will be uploading a patch
in our library for Keystroke finder as well as some of the other utilities in
next couple of days.
