I am keenly interested in developing some extensions to 3DS for my company.
The scope of the extensions may require PharLap to run. (Before I kick out
some $$$), does the IPAS Toolkit work with PharLap, and if so, which
version? Or, is there another multimedia toolkit available from Autodesk
for this purpose?
Yup, the IPAS toolkit requires the Phar Lap linker, and either Metaware
HighC 3.0 or Watcom C. For information about how to get the Autodesk IPAS
SDK, call (800)879-4233 ext 945. (note that you should also take a look at
the addendum to the IPAS SDK that I uploaded to DL1 here… IPAS21.ZIP.
