Can anyone tell me if it is possible to pull off audio tracks digitally and
store them as a file for the purpose of putting them back onto CD as an audio
track or possibly as a .VOC or .WAV file. Currently the best I am able to do
is record the audio track through my Sound Blaster 16's CD in port, but this is
a digital to analog and back to digital translation.

I think Toshiba's 3401 CD-ROM drive can perform that operation. I don't know
what software would be required to make the audio over SCSI perform in the
manner you are thinking.
You might give Toshiba a call and see if that can give some more details on how
it might work. (^they)
