I have installed a few CD-ROMs on other systems, but I decided to buy one for
my own system at last. Dirt Cheap Drives had a special consisting of the Texel
DM-3024, Pro Audio Spectrum Card, speakers, cables, and several bundled
offerings from Software Toolworks for $559., which I ordered and installed
uneventfully the other day. Works fine….
BTW, the drivers that are required for the CD-ROM & sound card can generally be
loaded high by the memory manager, even though many instructions suggest that
this won't work.
