I'd like to download a few files (mapbox.zip, gamma.zip, and dragon.zip) but when I tried to do so, I got the error message "file not found What am I doing wrong? Can you fill me in on the proper procedure? Thanx, Greg Cason [ [A [A/exit

Greg, The proper proceedure for downloading files depends on just which piece of comm software you are using to connect to CIS. If it's an ASCII command line program like ATO, TAP, PC PLUS..etc… type in the command LIB 1 at the forum prompt. This will take you to library 1 where 2 of the three files you want reside. Then type bro MAPBOX.ZIP and you will be presented with the first file. At the disposition prompt type in DOW and follow the menu prompts. Then type BRO GAMMA.ZIP for the next one. To get the last one you can either go to Library 9 or type BRO:ALL DRAGON.ZIP. For CIM or a like program, select the library icon (or menu selection), library 1, and browse the file names for the ones you want. Fetch them and go to library 9 for the last one. I think your real problem was that you were just looking in the wrong place. You can search the entire public library section with the command BRO:ALL XXX as this is one of the new cross library search patterns.
